Sierra Consulting Group has worked since 2004 as the outsourced IT management company for The Kaleidoscope Group, LLC., a full-service diversity & inclusion consultancy company based in Chicago. Prior to working with us, The Kaleidoscope Group was faced with an unreliable network infrastructure, antiquated Apple computers, no remote access to files or email, and a website which required consistent involvement of their contracted web development company.

The first priority of our work with Kaleidoscope was to stabilize the technology infrastructure. Ray Harth, the lead project manager, worked with Kaleidoscope’s operations director to determine the firm’s needs, create a budget, and establish a project time line. By procuring a pair of Windows 2003-based servers, we were able to create a highly reliable network which gave users access to shared files and resources, workgroup email with Exchange, and VPN access to the internal network.
